The Higher Court in Belgrade has published the list of five people pardoned by former Serbian President Aleksandar Vu\u010di\u0107. Among them is Dijana Hrkalovi\u0107, former State Secretary at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, who was released from criminal prosecution for influence peddling. The pardon also covered Marko Pavlovi\u0107, who was facing proceedings for attempted aggravated murder in a case involving the severe injury of student Sonja Ponjavi\u0107.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Higher Court in Belgrade announced on November 2 that it had received the pardon decision issued by Aleksandar Vu\u010di\u0107 on September 27, 2026, while he was still serving as President of the Republic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The decision covered five people, four of whom were released from criminal prosecution, while one person was released from further serving a prison sentence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the statement issued by the Higher Court in Belgrade, those pardoned include Neboj\u0161a \u0110oki\u0107 and Dijana Hrkalovi\u0107, whose cases were being handled by the Special Department for Organized Crime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBy decision of the President of Serbia, Neboj\u0161a \u0110oki\u0107 has been released from criminal prosecution for the criminal offense of money laundering under Article 245 of the Criminal Code, in a case being heard before the Special Department for Organized Crime of the Higher Court in Belgrade. The same decision released Dijana Hrkalovi\u0107 from criminal prosecution for the criminal offense of influence peddling, in proceedings also being conducted before the Special Department for Organized Crime,\u201d the court announced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This means Hrkalovi\u0107 has been covered by a presidential pardon in the proceedings brought against her over influence peddling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The list of those pardoned also includes Marko Pavlovi\u0107, who was released from criminal prosecution for the criminal offense of attempted aggravated murder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The case is connected to the incident in which student Sonja Ponjavi\u0107 was seriously injured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Under the pardon, Pavlovi\u0107 was released from further criminal prosecution for the aforementioned offense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The pardon decision also covered Dragana \u017divadinovi\u0107, who was released from criminal prosecution for the criminal offenses of abuse of official position and falsification of an official document.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The fifth person on the list is Milo\u0161 Dugali\u0107, whose pardon request was submitted on August 20, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Unlike the other pardoned individuals, Dugali\u0107 had previously been convicted by a final judgment, and the former president’s decision released him from further serving his prison sentence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIn addition, Milo\u0161 Dugali\u0107 was also pardoned, with his pardon request, submitted on August 20, 2026, having been approved. He was released from further serving the prison sentence imposed by a ruling of the Belgrade Court of Appeals dated March 20, 2025,\u201d the Higher Court stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Although the pardon decision was issued on September 27, the Higher Court in Belgrade announced that it did not receive it until November 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The published list includes Dijana Hrkalovi\u0107, Neboj\u0161a \u0110oki\u0107, Marko Pavlovi\u0107, Dragana \u017divadinovi\u0107 and Milo\u0161 Dugali\u0107.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Four of them were released from criminal prosecution for the offenses they had been charged with, while Dugali\u0107 was released from further serving his prison sentence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
