Two months spent with relatives and friends, going for walks, swimming and discovering the beauty of Serbia made Nana and Marta\u2019s summer truly special. When an ocean separates a family, time spent together becomes especially precious. For children growing up in America, visiting Serbia offers an opportunity to embrace their loved ones, discover places they have heard about since early childhood and create some of life\u2019s most beautiful memories. The Mileva Project, a nonprofit organization that funds round-trip airline tickets for children of Serbian descent from America, was founded with the aim of making such reunions possible for as many children as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
