Alta Banka has begun transferring large sums of money from the accounts of private individuals and companies in Serbia to accounts at foreign banks, Serbian Times has learned from highly reliable sources.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to our source, an employee of the bank, requests for transactions began arriving on Monday morning, once it became clear that Vu\u010di\u0107 and the SNS had lost the elections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThese are all companies and individuals connected to Vu\u010di\u0107\u2019s regime, who are now apparently trying to get their money out of Serbia before the Student List takes power,\u201d our source claims.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The source adds that employees have been threatened with consequences if any information about these transactions reaches the public, and describes the decision to contact our newsroom as a \u201cpatriotic duty.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lawyer Ivan Nini\u0107 also announced yesterday on his X account that a bank had begun transferring money abroad, that he had informed the National Bank of Serbia (NBS), and that he had requested an urgent inspection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAn insider at the heart of the system tells me that a bank began transferring money abroad yesterday. I informed the NBS this morning and requested urgent supervision to prevent public-sector depositors from being left with empty accounts. I consider this an act of patriotism and my civic duty,\u201d Nini\u0107 wrote on his X account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also published a document \u2014 a request for the urgent initiation of an extraordinary inspection of a bank\u2019s operations, with the name redacted, over concerns about the liquidity and security of public-sector deposits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAs a conscientious citizen\/person with direct knowledge of the operations of financial institutions in the Republic of Serbia, I hereby inform the National Bank of Serbia of observed activities that could seriously jeopardize the stability of the financial system and the security of depositors. According to the operational information available to me, immediately following the elections in the Republic of Serbia, beginning on October 26, 2026, bank (name redacted) A.D. Belgrade initiated an intensive and accelerated transfer of funds (liquid capital) abroad, specifically to accounts and legal entities located in Moscow (Russian Federation) and Skopje (North Macedonia), where the named bank or entities affiliated with it hold ownership stakes in the banking and insurance sectors,\u201d the document published by Nini\u0107 states, among other things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He requested that the National Bank of Serbia<\/a> urgently launch an extraordinary on-site inspection and audit at the bank\u2019s premises to establish the scope, grounds and legality of all foreign-currency and dinar transfers made abroad in the recent period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The document also outlines another proposed measure: that the NBS impose a temporary ban or restriction on the bank\u2019s ability to dispose of funds and conduct transactions with affiliated entities abroad, in order to prevent further capital outflows until the inspection is completed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also called on the central bank to order measures to maintain liquidity and protect the deposits of legal entities and individuals, with particular emphasis on deposits belonging to public companies and institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Academician Radomir Sai\u010di\u0107<\/a>, one of the leaders of the Student List, also commented on the issue, stating that \u201cthere are concerns about attempts to move capital and archives out of the country during the transfer of power.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
