The Organized Crime Prosecutor\u2019s Office (TOK) has opened cases concerning criminal complaints against<\/em><\/strong> Serbia\u2019s ambassador<\/a><\/em><\/strong> to Slovakia, Aleksandar Naki\u0107, and its ambassador to the United States, Dragan \u0160utanovac, over suspicions of abuse of office and violation of voting rights.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On October 20, the Prosecutor\u2019s Office requested the necessary information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Republic Electoral Commission<\/a> to determine the next steps and conduct a preliminary investigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the statement, the action was taken in accordance with a binding instruction issued by the Supreme Public Prosecutor\u2019s Office<\/a> concerning the handling of cases involving possible criminal offenses related to electoral rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
