The Serbian National Council of<\/em><\/strong> Kosovo and Metohija<\/em><\/strong><\/a> from Gra\u010danica, the Serbian National Forum from Gra\u010danica, and the Homeland People\u2019s Movement of Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija, based in the north, will organize a roundtable in Belgrade tomorrow, where they will call on Serbs from Kosovo to support the \u201cStudents Win\u201d list in the upcoming parliamentary elections in Serbia.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The roundtable, entitled \u201cKosovo and Metohija in Light of the Upcoming Parliamentary Elections \u2013 Why Should Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija Support the Students\u2019 List \u2013 Students Win?\u201d, will be held at the M Hotel, starting at 11 a.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The three organizations describe the upcoming elections as a \u201cgreat opportunity\u201d for a change of government in Serbia, which they accuse of having brought Serbs in Kosovo into what they call a \u201ccatastrophic position\u201d through its policies over the past 14 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the same time, they claim that pressure on voters in Kosovo has intensified ahead of the elections and that vote-rigging and falsification of election results are being prepared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis must be pointed out continuously, and the eyes of manipulated Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija must be opened, so that they can be prepared to take on the role of protagonists of democratic and fair elections and thereby defend their electoral will,\u201d the statement reads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The organizers say the aim of the gathering is to encourage Serbs from Kosovo and highlight the importance of their electoral choices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Representatives of the student movement, political parties and non-governmental organizations are expected to attend, along with analysts from Belgrade and Kosovo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These three organizations previously jointly supported the student Memorandum on Kosovo. Meanwhile, those who have publicly announced their support for the \u201cStudents Win\u201d list from Kosovo include, among others, the Kosovo Alliance, the Serbian People\u2019s Movement, the \u201cNorth for All\u201d Citizens\u2019 Initiative, the Serbian National Council of Kosovo and Metohija, Serbian Democracy, as well as Nenad Ra\u0161i\u0107 and his party, For Freedom, Justice and Survival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
