Students<\/a><\/em><\/strong> <\/a>have announced the \u201cStudents\u2019 Plan,\u201d an 11-point document that represents the backbone of their program, focusing on the fight against corruption, strengthening institutions, education, and Serbia\u2019s economic development.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As they stated, the plan is divided into three sections \u2013 \u201cSerbia or the Mafia,\u201d \u201cKnowledge Is Power,\u201d and \u201cSerbia Grows With Us.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In presenting the program, the students state that the canopy collapse was an event that revealed the true state of society and the consequences of corruption, party-based employment, and incompetence, but also sparked their fight for justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Three areas of the \u201cStudents\u2019 Plan\u201d<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The first area, called \u201cSerbia or the Mafia,\u201d concerns the fight against corruption, strengthening institutions, and confiscating illegally acquired wealth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The students claim that eradicating corruption in this way would free up hundreds of millions of euros that could be directed toward new public investments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second part of the plan, \u201cKnowledge Is Power,\u201d is dedicated to education and institutions. The students advocate for the depoliticization of institutions, free education, and reform of the education system which, as they state, would be based on professional expertise and the needs of the 21st century.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They also announced a fight against attacks on state universities and schools, with the message that they want to \u201cput expertise back at the helm of the state.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The third section is titled \u201cSerbia Grows With Us\u201d and concerns economic policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The students state that they advocate for balanced and planned development of a competitive market economy, based on the interests of Serbia and its citizens, rather than, as they claim, on individual agreements between the authorities and their associates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where and when will the \u201cStudents\u2019 Plan\u201d be presented?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The \u201cStudents\u2019 Plan\u201d will be presented to citizens across Serbia from September 15 to 19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
