On the electoral list of the Serbian Progressive Party, under number 43, is the president of the Bosniak-Serbian Alliance, Samir Tandir, who was sentenced to seven months in prison for a physical assault on Sead Veljovi\u0107 that occurred in 2020 in the center of Prijepolje. As stated in the verdict, on that occasion Tandir inflicted head and body injuries on Veljovi\u0107 using two meat tenderizers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As local Sand\u017eak media wrote, the incident took place in the evening hours during the night between September 22 and 23, 2020, in the Prijepolje neighborhood “Centrala”. According to Veljovi\u0107’s claims, the then-MP of Muamer Zukorli\u0107’s Justice and Reconciliation Party, Samir Tandir, physically attacked him using two meat tenderizers, as a result of which he suffered severe head, body, and hip injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“On September 22, 2020, I was out for dinner with my wife Ilda at the ‘Kosa\u010d’ restaurant. Around 11 PM, she went to her parents’ house in Begluke, and I stayed behind with my friends. At six minutes past midnight, I sent her a message, but she didn’t reply, so I got worried and headed to their house. When I arrived, I saw the light was on and her car was parked in front. At the intersection near the bridge over the Selja\u0161nica river, I noticed a black SUV driven by Samir Tandir, and my wife was getting out of the car,” Veljovi\u0107 stated, as reported by the Sand\u017ea\u010dke portal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Veljovi\u0107 recounted that shortly thereafter he called Tandir by phone to talk, and that the conversation took place the following morning, in front of the building where he lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
