Serbia\u2019s young<\/em><\/strong> boxers and female boxers<\/a><\/em><\/strong> won as many as 10 medals at the international \u201cBoxam\u201d tournament in Spain. The Serbian national team finished the competition with four golds, three silvers and three bronzes, competing against 246 participants from 21 countries.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mia Kero\u0161evi\u0107 in the U15 category up to 44 kilograms and Andrija Trajkovi\u0107 in the U17 category up to 80 kilograms won gold medals after recording two victories each. Ognjen Staletovi\u0107 was the best in the U17 category up to 52 kilograms, reaching first place with three wins. Among the gold medal<\/a> winners was also Mia Topi\u0107 in the U15 category up to 60 kilograms, who, in addition to taking first place, was named the best female boxer of the tournament in her age group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The silver medals went to Nina Damjanovi\u0107 in the U15 category up to 48 kilograms, Ostoja Drulovi\u0107 in the U15 category up to 40 kilograms, and Todor Lu\u010di\u0107 in the U17 category up to 57 kilograms. Anabeli Todorovi\u0107 in the U15 category up to 48 kilograms, Du\u0161an Neki\u0107 in the U17 category up to 66 kilograms, and Lazar Jovanovi\u0107 in the U15 category up to 52 kilograms won bronze medals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Young boxers and female boxers from Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denmark, France, Iceland, Kuwait, Latvia, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Palestine, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Romania, Serbia, Spain, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Venezuela took part in the tournament. The Serbian team was led by Igor Rogi\u0107, head coach of the younger men\u2019s categories, while the women\u2019s national team was led by Stefan Prodanovi\u0107, coach of BK Obili\u0107 from Zvornik.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
