Serbian athletes continue to achieve fantastic results at the Mediterranean Games in Taranto, where our country’s medal tally is steadily increasing.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The most rewarding moment of the day was delivered by kayakers Strahinja Dragosavljevi\u0107 and Veljko Vje\u0161tica. The Serbian duo dominated the competition in the K2 500-meter event, rowing what was undoubtedly the race of their lives and winning the gold medal for Serbia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the gold, the successes on the water were joined by bronze medals:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u017dofi Horvat paddled her way to bronze in the K1 500-meter event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u017darko Jakovljevi\u0107 won the bronze medal in the K1 1,000-meter event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The string of good news began last night, when \u017darko Kraji\u0161nik won the first medal for our national team, taking bronze in taekwondo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
