President of Serbia Aleksandar Vu\u010di\u0107 received an “uncomfortable” question during a tour of Nova Varo\u0161 and a conversation with citizens. Namely, a woman from the audience asked him, as well as the president of the municipality of Nova Varo\u0161 and the director of Srbija\u0161ume, why, after collecting votes for the 2020 parliamentary elections, she did not get the job that was promised to her.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The last two questions,” Aleksandar Vu\u010di\u0107 said on stage in Nova Varo\u0161 while chanting “Aco, Serb” could be heard in the background.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Namely, a female citizen asked him, as well as the acting director of “Srbija\u0161ume” Krsto Janju\u0161evi\u0107 and the president of the municipality of Nova Varo\u0161 Branko Bjeli\u0107, who were standing behind Vu\u010di\u0107 on stage \u2013 why she did not get the job that was promised to her, and, as she said, she had collected votes for the 2020 parliamentary elections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Can Krsto Janju\u0161evi\u0107 and Branko Bjeli\u0107 answer me, in 2020 I was promised that I would get a job. I was told then that if I collect a certain number of votes, I will get a job. Bjeli\u0107 is my neighbor and since then he doesn’t know how to say ‘good day’. I am interested in why I didn’t get that job, when it was promised to me that I would,” the citizen asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although she did not specify which job was in question, nor for which political option she collected votes \u2013 she claims to have evidence that she collected them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To that, the president initially said, probably answering someone who heckled, that “we will not remove anyone while I am here, no one here is paid and everyone has the right to say what they want.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then he asked the woman to let him answer her, saying that she had spoken for five minutes about what she wanted. And then he told her that whatever she had with Janju\u0161evi\u0107 and Bjeli\u0107 \u2013 she should resolve with the two of them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“What you have with the two of them, you will resolve with the two of them. Why didn’t you go to their municipality office?”, Vu\u010di\u0107 asked her, to which the woman replied that she did.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After that, the president turned to the other side to hear the last question and said, again probably based on what someone from the audience heckled, “do not divide people for me by religious affiliation.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I am addressing Bosniaks as well, and the fact that I am a Serb of Orthodox faith does not mean that I will not show respect to Bosniaks of Islamic faith. Now speak and ask your question,” Vu\u010di\u0107 concluded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
