Serbia’s U18 women’s junior tennis team won the European Championship title after defeating Hungary 2-0 in the final of the European Championships in Granville, France.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Serbia took the lead thanks to Lana Virc, who defeated Luca Kalman in three sets (6-1, 4-6, 6-1), while Anastasija Cvetkovi\u0107 secured the decisive victory against Lujza Beviz, also after three sets, 6-7, 6-1, 6-0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Serbian team, led by captain Lana Spremo, also included Du\u0161ica Popovski, who missed the entire final tournament due to a finger injury.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier in the competition, Serbia defeated Bulgaria 2-0 in the quarterfinals (both victories coming in singles), while the Czech Republic was beaten by the same score in the semifinals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
