Serbian tennis player Mia Risti\u0107 won the tournament in Cordenons, Italy, after defeating home player Nuria Brancaccio 2-0 in the final, by sets of 6-3, 6-3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By triumphing over the tournament’s top seed, the 20-year-old Serbian claimed a new trophy and achieved the best ranking of her career so far.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although she was up against the tournament favorite and the world No. 189, Mia Risti\u0107 dictated the pace from the very beginning. As the fourth seed, she played confidently and composedly, earning a deserved straight-sets victory after one hour and 39 minutes of play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
