Serbian national A.S. (22) from Jagodina has been suspected of assaulting a public official and committing domestic violence after allegedly injuring a police officer by biting him on the arm and physically attacking his partner in Kotor, Montenegro, RTCG reported today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Montenegro’s Police Directorate said the incident was reported early Wednesday morning after citizens alerted the emergency services that a man was behaving violently and aggressively in the Sveta Vra\u010da neighborhood and was preventing employees of a local supermarket from approaching the building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Upon arriving at the scene, police found A.S., who was allegedly striking parked vehicles and the concrete pavement, injuring himself in the process and damaging one of the vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
While officers were attempting to restrain him, one police officer sustained a bite injury to his arm inflicted by A.S., the police said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The suspect was transported by ambulance to a medical facility, where he was kept under observation for further evaluation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
His partner, N.P. (21) from Subotica, was also found at the scene with visible bodily injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the orders of the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Kotor, criminal charges have been filed against A.S. on suspicion of committing the offense of assaulting a public official in the performance of official duties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
