After firing several shots from a gas pistol in the direction of minors gathered in the yard of the \u201cSveti Sava\u201d Primary School in Smederevo, the suspect in the shooting, U. R. (24), tried to escape on a motorcycle but was soon caught and detained by police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The police announced today that, in cooperation with the Basic Public Prosecutor\u2019s Office in Smederevo, they had arrested U. R. (24) on suspicion of committing the crime of causing general danger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHe is suspected of, after a verbal and physical confrontation with several minors in the yard of a primary school in Smederevo, going to his home, taking a gas pistol with metal pellets in its magazine, and returning, after which he fired several pellets at the minors in a street next to the school and hit one of them in the hand,\u201d the police statement said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
