Students from Serbia won four bronze medals at the European Geography Olympiad (EGEO), which was held from June 27 to July 3 in Varna, Bulgaria.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Serbia was represented at the competition by nine students \u2013 six high schoolers and three elementary schoolers, participants of the Regional Center for Young Talents “Nikola Tesla”. A total of 140 competitors from 15 countries participated in the olympiad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bronze medals were won by Damjan \u0106uk from the U\u017eice Grammar School, Petar Tolimir from the “Ru\u0111er Bo\u0161kovi\u0107” Grammar School in Belgrade, Marko Langovi\u0107 from the Sixth Belgrade Grammar School, and Relja Stani\u0161evi\u0107 from the Valjevo Grammar School.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Serbian team also included Nik\u0161a \u0106evrljakovi\u0107 from the Kraljevo Grammar School, Jakov \u0110ondovi\u0107 from the Mathematical Grammar School, Ko\u010da Krsti\u0107 from the Fifth Belgrade Grammar School, Lazar \u0110uri\u0107 from the “14. oktobar” Elementary School, and Petra Jemuovi\u0107 from the “Milo\u0161 Crnjanski” Elementary School.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Support for the participation of the Serbian team at the olympiad was provided by “Foundation 1%”, its donors, the brand “Najlep\u0161e \u017eelje” through the “Punim srcem” campaign, and the company “Generali”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
