Two patients were killed early this morning in a fire at a hospital in Ludwigslust, northern Germany, while at least 34 others were injured, the city’s fire department announced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Following the outbreak of the fire, the hospital was completely evacuated. Fire officials said patients are now being cared for in a safe area within the hospital complex, according to Tagesschau<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n According to preliminary information, the fire broke out in one of the patients’ rooms before spreading to the roof of the hospital’s radiology department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Authorities said the blaze is now under control.
