General Consul of the Republic of Serbia in New York, Dr. Vladimir Bo\u017eovi\u0107, attended the prestigious \u201cChoose NYC Summit\u201d, organized by the New York City Economic Development Corporation \u2013 New York City Economic Development Corporation. This is one of the most important annual business forums in New York, aimed at attracting investment, encouraging economic development, and strengthening cooperation between the City of New York and leading companies from the United States and the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This year\u2019s summit gathered more than 300 companies, investors, entrepreneurs, and senior officials from various sectors, who discussed the future of business, innovation, technological development, infrastructure projects, and opportunities for new investments in New York.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The summit was also attended by the Mayor of New York Zohran Mamdani, with whom Consul General Bo\u017eovi\u0107 had a brief and cordial meeting. On that occasion, the consul reminded the mayor of the long-standing efforts of the Serbian community and the Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia to erect a monument to Nikola Tesla in New York.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mayor Mamdani confirmed his support for this initiative and stated that he will do everything in his power to ensure that this important idea is realized in the near future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
