Under the slogan “Save Slobodi\u0161te,”<\/strong> students in blockade from Kru\u0161evac have announced a gathering in response to what they describe as the violation of the integrity of the Slobodi\u0161te Memorial Complex<\/strong> through the construction of a Military Equipment Park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Slobodi\u0161te is one of the most significant memorial sites in Serbia. It was built in memory of thousands of patriots and anti-fascists executed by German occupiers during World War II, and the complex was designed by renowned Serbian architect Bogdan Bogdanovi\u0107. Over the decades, Slobodi\u0161te has become a symbol of suffering, freedom, and resistance to fascism, as well as one of the most recognizable landmarks of Kru\u0161evac.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
