{"id":212252,"date":"2026-06-13T16:04:58","date_gmt":"2026-06-13T14:04:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/serbiantimes.info\/en\/?p=212252"},"modified":"2026-06-13T16:04:58","modified_gmt":"2026-06-13T14:04:58","slug":"briton-delighted-with-serbia-this-no-longer-exists-in-the-west-you-can-only-dream-of-markets-like-these-video","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/serbiantimes.info\/en\/briton-delighted-with-serbia-this-no-longer-exists-in-the-west-you-can-only-dream-of-markets-like-these-video\/","title":{"rendered":"BRITON DELIGHTED WITH SERBIA: \u201cThis no longer exists in the West, you can only dream of markets like these!\u201d (VIDEO)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While many citizens of Serbia pass by stalls overflowing with fruit and vegetables every day without paying much attention to scenes that are completely ordinary to them, a Briton named James, who has been living in Serbia for some time, claims that this is precisely one of the country\u2019s greatest treasures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a video he posted on social media, James showed the atmosphere at a local market and his genuine amazement at the freshness, quality and variety of products he found there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As he walked past stalls packed with strawberries, raspberries, peaches, cherries and fresh vegetables, the Briton could not hide his surprise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIf you are anywhere north of the Balkans or west of Prague, you do not have this,\u201d James said at the beginning of the video.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He explained that such markets are rarely seen today in much of Western Europe, where the supply of fresh produce is generally limited to supermarkets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe selection of produce here is insane! Honestly, I just can\u2019t get over it and I have no idea what to buy first,\u201d he said with a smile while browsing the stalls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video controls src=\"https:\/\/serbiantimes.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Store-bought-food-in-the-US-is-diabolically-unhealthy.British-supermarket-food-is-not-much-bette.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to him, he had occasionally seen similar scenes in Greece or in certain places in the Czech Republic, but never on such a scale and with so much fresh food gathered in one place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For him, as well as for many people from the West, this way of shopping represents something that has almost disappeared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIf you\u2019re in the West, maybe you remember this from the 1980s, if you\u2019re lucky.
