A memorial service for Milovan Jovanovi\u0107, the Serbian soldier who lost his life during a peacekeeping mission in southern Lebanon when a UN military base was bombed, will be held tomorrow at 9 a.m. at the Ribnica barracks in Kraljevo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Senior Sergeant Milovan Jovanovi\u0107 was killed during a six-month peacekeeping mission in southern Lebanon when hostile forces attacked a United Nations military base. Two soldiers from Spain and El Salvador were also wounded in the attack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jovanovi\u0107 was supposed to remain on the peacekeeping mission for another month before returning to his home military base at the Jovo Kursula barracks in Kraljevo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Numerous colleagues from Serbia and other countries accompanied the body of the fallen soldier from Beirut. The body is expected to arrive at Belgrade Airport during the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Flags have already been lowered to half-mast today at the barracks in his hometown, where the memorial service will be held tomorrow at 9 a.m., after which the body will be escorted to the cemetery in the Kova\u010di neighborhood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A Day of Mourning has been declared in Kraljevo for tomorrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
