Twenty-seven-year-old mountaineer from Serbia S.R. died on Saturday around 1 p.m., in the area above Grebajski Zastan in the Albanian part of the Maja Zastanit peak.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This was told to Vijesti unofficially from several sources, stating that there were two more mountaineers from Serbia with S.R., who called for help immediately after the accident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the sources said that the helicopter unit arrived at the scene and lowered a rescuer on cables, but that due to the complexity of the situation, the action was suspended and continued today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier today, the Mountain Rescue Service of Montenegro announced that its members, together with the Air-Helicopter Unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, started an action in the area of Zastan on Prokletije. However, the helicopter of the Air-Helicopter Unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs had to make an emergency landing near Gusinje after a technical malfunction that occurred during the engagement in the rescue operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
