The former director of the Montenegrin police, Nikola Terzi\u0107, was banned from entering Serbia last night at the request of the Serbian Security Intelligence Agency (BIA), where he otherwise teaches at a faculty, Vijesti learns unofficially.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This information was also confirmed to the editorial office by Terzi\u0107, stating that the Decision on banning entry into Serbia was delivered to him after a four-hour wait at the \u0160piljani Border Crossing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Last night, after a four-hour detention at the \u0160piljani GP, I was served a Decision on banning entry into Serbia \u2014 for reasons of protecting the security of the Republic of Serbia and its citizens. I actually think that a decision like this caused damage to the citizens of Serbia, for the reason that today and tomorrow the students of the third and fourth year of studies had their final exam. I am surprised and truly disappointed by such a decision of the state organs of the Republic of Serbia,” Terzi\u0107 told the Vijesti newspaper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Government of Dritan Abazovi\u0107, Terzi\u0107 performed the duty of acting director of the Police Directorate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The decision for Serbia to ban him from entering the territory of their state arrived a few hours after a team of 87 men, who landed in Tivat yesterday morning at 10:41 on a charter flight of the Serbian national airline “Air Serbia,” was returned to Belgrade shortly before 4 p.m. due to the protection of national security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the editorial office’s findings, that charter flight was chartered by the travel agency “Happy travel” from Bijeljina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Montenegrin security services announced that this group was expelled because they were a threat to national security, as well as that they had attended numerous public gatherings of high security risk, and that some of them were recorded for committing criminal acts and misdemeanors with elements of violence. The team that arrived via the charter flight to Tivat did not want to answer the police’s questions regarding the purpose of their arrival in Montenegro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many of the passengers on yesterday’s flight, who are now banned from entering Montenegro, were labeled by Serbian media, local opposition politicians, civil activists, and students as “thugs” of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), i.e., the regime of Aleksandar Vu\u010di\u0107 \u2014 who are linked to the breaking up of student protests in Serbia, riots at sports events, causing incidents, organizing and camping in the so-called “taticland” in Belgrade’s Pionirski Park in front of the building of the President of Serbia\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
