Members of the Kosovo Police raided a Serbian clinic in Obili\u0107 on Saturday evening, which is located in a residential building where several Serbian families live.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The raid took place after the Health Inspectorate from Pristina informed the police that a clinic operating within the Serbian system was located in this building, reports state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the search, the Kosovo Police found medical equipment, after which the clinic was sealed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The EU representative for the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, Peter Sorensen, emphasized during his visit to Pristina on April 14 that Serbian doctors should be provided with work permits, pointing out that any interruption of healthcare services must be prevented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, announced earlier this month that the Kosovo authorities would integrate healthcare and educational institutions, which operate under the Serbian system and are funded by Belgrade, into their system. He announced this citing the implementation of the Law on Foreigners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two days earlier, the Kosovo government also took over the railway station facilities managed by the Serbian railway enterprise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
