By order of the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade, P.U. (20), an employee of the restaurant where Aleksandar Ne\u0161ovi\u0107 Baja was killed, was deprived of his liberty. It is suspected that he helped in concealing the traces of the brutal crime.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The investigation into the brutal murder of Aleksandar Ne\u0161ovi\u0107 continues to unfold. Members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in cooperation with the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office (VJT) in Belgrade, arrested another person linked to this crime committed on May 12 of this year in the well-known restaurant “27” in Senjak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This concerns a twenty-year-old waiter of the aforementioned catering establishment, P.U. (20), who, by order of the prosecutor’s office, was detained for up to 48 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From a false statement to suspect status<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

As established in the course of the investigation so far, P.U. was at the scene at the moment the crime was committed. However, he initially tried to hide this from the investigative authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“During an informative interview with police officers, the suspect explicitly denied that he was present at the restaurant at the time of the murder. Nevertheless, through operational work and gathered evidence, those claims were refuted,” states a source close to the investigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is suspected that the young waiter, along with other suspects included in this proceeding, actively participated in actions aimed at concealing the criminal offense itself, as well as its immediate perpetrators. He is charged with two criminal offenses \u2013 Failure to report a criminal offense and perpetrator, and Assisting a perpetrator after the commission of a criminal offense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Body found in a barrel with concrete<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

As a reminder, Aleksandar Ne\u0161ovi\u0107 was liquidated on May 12, and the search for him kept the public in suspense for days. The epilogue of the investigation shocked even the MUP operatives who worked on this case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After intensive operational work, Ne\u0161ovi\u0107’s body was found buried on a property in the vicinity of In\u0111ija. That this was a cruel and professional execution with the signature of organized crime was confirmed by the way the killers tried to get rid of the evidence \u2013 the victim was found in a barrel which was then completely poured over with concrete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The investigation of the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade continues, and the suspect P.U. is expected to be brought in for questioning within the legal time limit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
