At the “Jug” base and the “Borovac” training ground near Bujanovac, the first joint military exercise between Serbia and NATO has begun, in which about 600 members of the Serbian Armed Forces and the armed forces of Italy, Romania, and Turkey are engaged until May 23rd. The tactical exercise titled “NATO \u2013 Serbia” is organized by the Land Forces Command and the NATO Joint Force Command from Naples, the Ministry of Defense announced.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“During the two-week field activities, tactics, techniques, and procedures applied in peace support operations will be practiced, such as base security, checkpoint operations, crowd control, and urban combat,” the statement reads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
