As for the injury, the leg is okay now, but considering that I lay in bed for about a year and a half, the knee remained stiff and frozen, so I cannot bend it \u2013 Nemanja says for Kurir and adds:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-I managed to stand on my feet independently after about 4 months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When it comes to the fatal evening, Nemanja says he tries to think about it as little as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-I often think about what I survived, but I want to reduce those thoughts to a minimum. With his kick, symbolically, the match began. Otherwise, due to his injury, Nemanja did not play the match, but only symbolically opened it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a reminder, on the critical night, Nemanja called his father on the phone and said: &#8220;Dad, come get me, I&#8217;m dying.&#8221; His father testified at the prosecutor&#8217;s office, where he recounted how he found out about the shooting, as well as what happened that evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-My son went to the monument in the evening hours with his friends. Their intention was to gather and celebrate Saint George&#8217;s Day earlier, due to the upcoming days of mourning. I was at home when my son called me at 10:36 p.m. and said: &#8220;Dad, come get me, I&#8217;m dying&#8221; \u2013 Nemanja&#8217;s father said then.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a reminder, on May 4, 2023, in the villages of Dubona and Malo Ora\u0161je, Uro\u0161 Bla\u017ei\u0107 killed nine young people and wounded 12 of them. Nemanja Ili\u0107 is one of them. He managed to survive the shots of the crazed killer, but the consequences remained.
