Mi\u0161a Stojiljkovi\u0107, an RTS journalist who hosted the Radio Belgrade Morning Program for 10 years, featured students live, and broadcasted events from their protests, has been transferred to the “children’s” editorial office, from which he will not be able to address listeners, Nova.rs has learned.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the new management of RTS, recently headed by Manja Gr\u010di\u0107, the programming scheme is clearly changing, as are the workplaces of long-term journalists\u2014primarily hosts who are in direct communication with the audience, specifically the citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the changes that will surely shock Radio Belgrade listeners is the station’s famous morning program, which is getting a new name and a new hosting lineup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The current hosts Mi\u0161a Stoiljkovi\u0107, Aleksandra Madenovi\u0107, Igor Obra\u010devi\u0107, and Biljana \u0160ujdovi\u0107 have been\u2014replaced. And instead of the name we all know, “Catch the Day,” it will be called “It’s Morning\u2026”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“This is the final stage of the purge, after which we will need serious cleansing. This is obviously a final showdown with everyone who dared to think and speak freely,” an RTS source told Nova.rs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Besides Stoiljkovi\u0107, our interlocutor points out, other colleagues have also been “removed” from the Morning Program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“A new ‘monstrous’ scheme begins on May 4th. No one was fired, but people were removed from the program. Stoiljkovi\u0107 is being moved to the Children’s Editorial Office, and the Morning Program will be hosted by some new, younger people, all of whom are employed as freelancers,” our source explains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
