A Serbian citizen (36) was arrested in Malta after the police found drugs in his possession.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The man was arrested on Friday in Birkirkara, following surveillance conducted due to suspicions that he was involved in alleged drug trafficking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the surveillance on Friday, the police noticed a person approaching the vehicle in which the suspect was located, and after a suspicious contact, he was arrested, local media reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Police officers found several packets suspected of containing cocaine in his vehicle, while a search of the apartment revealed a certain amount of packets with alleged cannabis, which the police claim were ready for further sale, with an estimated street value of about 11,500 euros, as well as a certain amount of money.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
