The Mathematical Society of Serbia announced that our country’s national team won nine medals at the International Advanced Tournament in Informatics.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the 17th International Advanced Tournament in Informatics \u2013 IATI, which was held on April 16 and 17, 2026, Serbia was represented by four teams of four members each, the Mathematical Society of Serbia announced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Serbian teams were selected based on the students’ success in competitions organized by the Mathematical Society of Serbia. The competition was held online, organized by the city of Burgas (Bulgaria), and the host for Serbia was the School of Computing in Belgrade, which provided all the necessary resources for the successful realization of the competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Young talents of Serbia<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

“Our competitors achieved an enviable result in a competition of 439 participants, winning nine medals,” they announced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The gold medal was won by Stefan \u0160ebez, a student at the Mathematical Grammar School in Belgrade. Silver medals were won by Pavle Damjanovi\u0107 and Petar Banovi\u0107, students at the Mathematical Grammar School in Belgrade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bronze medals were won by Dimitrije Atanaskovi\u0107 and Danilo Atanaskovi\u0107, students at the “Svetozar Markovi\u0107” Grammar School in Ni\u0161, Filip Repman, a student at the “Veljko Petrovi\u0107” Grammar School in Sombor, Nikola \u0160ami and Uro\u0161 Nedi\u0107, students at the Mathematical Grammar School in Belgrade, as well as Pavle Toma\u0161evi\u0107, a student at the School of Computing in Belgrade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Serbia was also represented by Iva \u017divkovi\u0107, Jelisaveta Srdi\u0107, and An\u0111ela Nestorovi\u0107, students at the Mathematical Grammar School in Belgrade, Marija Mini\u0107 and Vuk Filipovi\u0107, students at the “Nada Mati\u0107” Elementary School in U\u017eice, Aleksandra Miladinovi\u0107, a student at the “Veljko Petrovi\u0107” Grammar School in Sombor, as well as Larisa Ivanovi\u0107, a student at the “Jovan Jovanovi\u0107 Zmaj” Grammar School in Novi Sad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The team leaders were Ognjen Te\u0161i\u0107 from the Faculty of Mathematics, University of Belgrade, Aleksa Dani\u0107 from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Belgrade, as well as Du\u0161an Popadi\u0107 from the School of Computing in Belgrade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
