The Croatian police have filed a criminal complaint against a priest from Gospi\u0107 on suspicion of sexually harassing a person on several occasions.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He is charged with the commission of the criminal offense of “sexual harassment,” reported Index.hr. The police stated that, in order to protect the victim’s dignity, they will not disclose additional details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to information from Index, it is a 35-year-old priest from Gospi\u0107 who is suspected of sexually exploiting minors in the period from 2017 to 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The suspect was interrogated but was not arrested or detained. As Index reports, the citizens of Gospi\u0107 stated that they fear the case could be covered up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The diocese stated that the case has been reported to the competent civil authorities and that all prescribed procedures within church jurisdiction have been initiated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
