The most drastic difference is seen in Knja\u017eevac, where the SNS won almost 20 percent fewer votes in these elections than in the last ones.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;In short, this can hardly be called an election&#8221; \u2013 that is how CRTA, whose observers closely monitored the elections, described the voting held yesterday in 10 municipalities and cities in Serbia. We witnessed numerous irregularities and horrific violence against citizens and journalists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nevertheless, a comparative analysis of the first preliminary results shows that the ruling Serbian Progressive Party is ending this electoral process significantly weakened, despite the machinery that was harnessed against the will of the citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this comparative analysis, we used the results of the local elections held in 2022 and those announced last night by the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vu\u010di\u0107. In as many as eight out of 10 municipalities, the SNS recorded a drop in the number of votes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Aran\u0111elovac: A drop of 7 percent of the votes<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Serbian Progressive Party in Aran\u0111elovac won 43.58 percent of the votes in 2022. The SPS-JS coalition won 17.04 percent at that time. In total, that gives 60.62 percent of the votes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the elections held yesterday, the parties gathered around the list &#8220;Aleksandar Vu\u010di\u0107 \u2013 Aran\u0111elovac, Our Family!&#8221; won 53.49 percent \u2013 which is a drop of 7.13 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The electoral list &#8220;Aleksandar Vu\u010di\u0107 \u2013 Aran\u0111elovac, Our Family!&#8221; consists of a coalition of the Serbian Progressive Party, the Socialist Party of Serbia, the Serbian Radical Party, the Serbian Party Oathkeepers, Aleksandar Vulin\u2019s Movement of Socialists, and the Party of United Pensioners of Serbia. In the 2022 local elections, the SNS, SPS, and Oathkeepers participated on separate lists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bor: SNS achieved negligible progress<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>When it comes to Bor, the SNS list \u2013 &#8220;Aleksandar Vu\u010di\u0107 \u2013 Together We Can Do Everything&#8221; won 35.38 percent of the votes in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regarding their coalition partners, SPS \u2013 &#8220;Ivica Da\u010di\u0107 \u2013 Prime Minister of Serbia,&#8221; they won 10.77 percent at that time. In total, that is 46.15 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regarding yesterday&#8217;s elections, the ruling party won 47-49 percent of the votes, although it should be emphasized that two more parties joined the SNS and SPS on the list this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The electoral list &#8220;Aleksandar Vu\u010di\u0107 \u2013 Bor, Our Family!&#8221; consists of a coalition of the Serbian Progressive Party, the Socialist Party of Serbia, the Serbian Radical Party, and Nenad Popovi\u0107\u2019s Serbian People&#8217;s Party. In the 2022 local elections, the SNS, SPS, and SRS participated on separate lists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Kula: A drop of 10 percent<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In the local elections held in 2022 in Kula, SNS \u2013 &#8220;Aleksandar Vu\u010di\u0107 \u2013 Together We Can Do Everything&#8221; won 52.06 percent, and the Socialist Party of Serbia won 8.34 percent. In total, that is 60.4 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When it comes to this year&#8217;s elections, according to the results announced by Vu\u010di\u0107, the Progressives won 50.52 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The electoral list &#8220;Aleksandar Vu\u010di\u0107 \u2013 Kula, Our Family!&#8221; consists of a coalition of the Serbian Progressive Party, the Socialist Party of Serbia, the Serbian Radical Party, the Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians, and Branislav \u0160vonja\u2019s Community of Serbs. In the 2022 local elections, the SNS, SPS, SRS, and the Community of Serbs all participated separately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Majdanpek: A drop of 1.66 percent<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In the elections held in April 2022, SNS \u2013 &#8220;Aleksandar Vu\u010di\u0107 \u2013 Together We Can Do Everything&#8221; \u2013 won 53.1 percent, and the SPS around 14.2 percent. In total, that is 67.3 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In yesterday&#8217;s elections, the SNS won 65.64 percent, which is a drop of 1.66 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The electoral list &#8220;Aleksandar Vu\u010di\u0107 \u2013 Majdanpek, Our Family!&#8221; consists of a coalition of the Serbian Progressive Party, the Socialist Party of Serbia, and the Serbian Radical Party. In the 2022 local elections, all three parties participated separately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sevojno: A drop of 10.52 percent<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The SNS list \u2013 &#8220;Aleksandar Vu\u010di\u0107 \u2013 Together We Can Do Everything&#8221; \u2013 won about 58 percent of the votes in the local elections in Sevojno in 2022, while the SPS won almost 4 percent of the votes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In total, that is 62 percent of the votes. In yesterday&#8217;s elections, the list around the SNS won 51.48 percent of the votes, which is a drop of 10.5 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The electoral list &#8220;Aleksandar Vu\u010di\u0107 \u2013 Sevojno, Our Family!&#8221; consists of a coalition of the Serbian Progressive Party, the Socialist Party of Serbia, the Serbian Radical Party, the Party of United Pensioners of Serbia, and the Serbian Party Oathkeepers. In the 2022 local elections, the SNS, SRS, and Oathkeepers participated separately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Lu\u010dani: A drop of almost five percent<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In the local elections in Lu\u010dani in 2022, the most votes were received by the list of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), which won 57.14 percent of the votes. The Socialist Party of Serbia \u2013 United Serbia (SPS-JS) list won 11.45 percent of the votes. The SRS did not pass the threshold then.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In total, that is 68.59 percent of the votes. In the 2022 local elections, the SNS, SPS, and SRS participated separately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bajina Ba\u0161ta: A drop of 11.51 percent<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The SNS list \u2013 &#8220;Aleksandar Vu\u010di\u0107 \u2013 Together We Can Do Everything&#8221; won slightly more than 53 percent of the votes in Bajina Ba\u0161ta in 2022. The SPS (Socialist Party of Serbia) won slightly more than 12 percent. That is 65 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Bajina Ba\u0161ta, the list &#8220;Aleksandar Vu\u010di\u0107 \u2013 Our Family&#8221; won 53.49 percent yesterday, which is a drop of 11.51 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The electoral list &#8220;Aleksandar Vu\u010di\u0107 \u2013 Bajina Ba\u0161ta, Our Family!&#8221; consists of a coalition of the Serbian Progressive Party, the Socialist Party of Serbia, the Serbian Radical Party, the Party of United Pensioners of Serbia, and Nenad Popovi\u0107\u2019s Serbian People&#8217;s Party. In the 2022 local elections, the SNS and SPS participated separately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Smederevska Palanka: A drop of almost 15 percent<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In the elections held in 2022, SNS \u2013 &#8220;Aleksandar Vu\u010di\u0107 \u2013 Together We Can Do Everything&#8221; \u2013 won 63.87 percent of the votes. The SPS\u2013JS coalition won 8.95 percent of the votes at that time. That is a total of 72.85 percent of the votes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the elections held on Sunday, the list around the SNS in Smederevska Palanka received 58 percent of the votes, which is a drop of 14.85 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The electoral list &#8220;Aleksandar Vu\u010di\u0107 \u2013 Smederevska Palanka, Our Family!&#8221; consists of a coalition of the Serbian Progressive Party, the Socialist Party of Serbia, the Serbian Radical Party, the Party of United Pensioners of Serbia, Milan Stamatovi\u0107\u2019s Healthy Serbia, and the Serbian Party Oathkeepers. In the 2022 local elections, the SNS, SPS, SRS, and Healthy Serbia all participated separately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Kladovo: An advantage for the SNS<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The SNS list \u2013 &#8220;Aleksandar Vu\u010di\u0107 \u2013 Together We Can Do Everything&#8221; won 44.92 percent of the votes in the elections held four years ago. When it comes to the SPS, that party won 18.51 percent of the votes, while less than one percent went to the SRS. In total, that is 63.43 percent of the votes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regarding the results of yesterday&#8217;s elections, the lists gathered around the SNS won 71.99, which means an advantage of 8.56 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The electoral list &#8220;Aleksandar Vu\u010di\u0107 \u2013 Kladovo, Our Family!&#8221; consists of a coalition of the Serbian Progressive Party, the Socialist Party of Serbia, and the Serbian Radical Party. In the 2022 local elections, all three parties participated separately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Knja\u017eevac: A drop of almost 20 percent<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>SNS \u2013 &#8220;Aleksandar Vu\u010di\u0107 \u2013 Together We Can Do Everything&#8221; won 61.3 percent of the votes in the local elections in 2022. As for the SPS, they won 15 percent of the votes then.
