The surname Stojakovi\u0107 is once again synonymous with the basketball elite, but this time on American soil.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andrej Stojakovi\u0107 confirmed that blood is not water, playing the game of the season which launched Illinois to the final tournament in Houston. The victory over Iowa (71:59) is not just a result, but a historic moment for a university that has waited more than two decades for this success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While his father Pe\u0111a watched every move from the stands, Andrej took absolute control of the game. With 21 points scored, he was an unsolvable enigma for the Iowa defense, hitting from all positions just as the Sacramento Kings legend once did.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is only the second time in the program’s history that Illinois has reached the Final Four.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
