The lifeless body of a female person, approximately 25 years old, was found on the plateau in front of the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade. According to initial information, pyrotechnic devices were previously activated and ignited on the fifth floor of the faculty, after which, it is suspected, the young woman jumped out of a window, said the head of the Stari Grad Police Station, Radenko Resanovi\u0107, as announced by the Ministry of Interior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Resanovi\u0107 specified that police officers received the report at 22:40 last night, after which they immediately went to the scene, where they found a female person showing no signs of life, the statement adds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAccording to initial information obtained from eyewitnesses, pyrotechnic devices were activated and ignited on the fifth floor of the Faculty of Philosophy, after which, it is suspected, a female person, most likely a student of the faculty, jumped out of a window,\u201d Resanovi\u0107 stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He emphasized that the competent prosecutor\u2019s office was informed about the incident and ordered an investigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cInvestigation teams are at the scene, and the securing and documentation of all traces is ongoing, as well as the collection of statements from eyewitnesses,\u201d Resanovi\u0107 said, adding that the pyrotechnic devices that had been activated were later extinguished by faculty employees, while it is still not known how they were brought into the building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Resanovi\u0107 stressed that the improper use of pyrotechnic devices, which can endanger human lives and lead to serious consequences, is to be strongly condemned, according to the statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
