Angelina Topi\u0107 won the silver medal in the high jump at the World Championships in Torun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is the second consecutive major competition at which she has won a medal, having previously claimed bronze at the World Outdoor Championships in Tokyo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We witnessed an incredible competition, and Angelina delivered four perfect jumps to clear 1.99m. Three other athletes achieved the same result \u2013 world record holder Yaroslava Mahuchikh, her compatriot Yuliya Levchenko, and Australia\u2019s Nicola Olyslagers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At 2.01, Mahuchikh cleared the bar on her first attempt and won the gold medal, while Topi\u0107, Levchenko, and Olyslagers failed all three attempts and therefore shared the silver medal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
