Farmer and activist Zlatko Kokanovic, who has been in custody since March 1st for, as stated, obstructing an official at a farmers’ blockade, was brought to court in Loznica today at noon for a hearing. His family and friends gathered near the court building; however, the police do not allow them to approach him. One video shows police officers pushing Kokanovic’s daughter, Jelica, and preventing her from seeing her father.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zlatko Kokanovic is the only farmer who is still in custody.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The police detained him on March 1st because he allegedly obstructed an official in the performance of their duty, and today at noon he was brought out and taken to court in Loznica for one of the hearings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His daughter Jelica told Nova.rs that she, other family members, and friends of her father are located near the court building, so they could at least briefly see Zlatko and offer him words of support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
