Denver played another in a series of derby matches this season in which David Adelman’s team played well, led, and then incomprehensibly fell in the finish and eventually left the court with heads bowed. Against Oklahoma, even a brilliant performance by Nikola Jokic did not help, as Shai Gilgeous-Alexander hit a three-pointer for 129:126 a second before the end!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And it did not look like it would end that way because the Nuggets were mostly in the lead until the last quarter, fighting well against the best team in the league\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gordon returned in full strength and led the team in the first quarter, scoring from all positions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
