The management of the University Clinical Center Ni\u0161 announced that it has dismissed Dragan Mili\u0107 from the position of head of the Cardiac Surgery Clinic, stating that through his public appearances he was damaging the reputation of the institution. Mili\u0107 was offered to sign an annex to his contract and remain employed as a doctor, while otherwise he may receive a dismissal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The University Clinical Center (UKC) in Ni\u0161 announced that Dragan Mili\u0107 has been relieved of his position as head of the Cardiac Surgery Clinic, the Ju\u017ene vesti portal reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They say the decision on the dismissal was made because Mili\u0107 for a longer period \u201cpresented untruths about the work of UKC Ni\u0161 on social networks and in public appearances, thereby violating the documents on work and conduct of UKC Ni\u0161.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As stated in the statement by UKC, Mili\u0107 was offered to conclude an annex to the employment contract, by which he would be removed from the position of head and accept the job of a doctor of medicine subspecialist at the Department of Cardiac Surgery and Complex Vascular Procedures. He has a deadline of 8 days to either accept this, with the possibility to appeal the decision in court, or to refuse \u2013 and in that case receive a dismissal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
