The President of Serbia Aleksandar Vu\u010di\u0107 assessed that the state of healthcare in Serbia is unsustainable and that in recent decades the healthcare system has been managed incorrectly, but he did not specify what the solution or plan is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Vu\u010di\u0107 said at the presentation of Serbia\u2019s strategy until 2035 that proportionally almost the most in Europe is invested in healthcare, and that people think that free treatment belongs to them, which, he says, is not true.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As Vu\u010di\u0107 explains, using the example of Minister Ivica Da\u010di\u0107 who, as he says, should leave the hospital next week, his treatment would not be covered even by five years of his salary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“This is an unsustainable model and I am not satisfied with the lack of courage to talk about it. You have, for example, a doctor in Ni\u0161 who performs one to two surgeries a month, does nothing, and receives a salary of more than 3,500 euros,” said Vu\u010di\u0107.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
