Iran\u2019s Ministry of Intelligence announced today that it had stopped an attempted cross-border attack by separatists, stating that it targeted the positions of \u201cseparatist groups\u201d that tried to enter through the western borders, and that those groups suffered heavy losses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is also stated that the bases and ammunition warehouses of the separatist groups were destroyed, Iran\u2019s Mehr news agency reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It adds that operatives of the Ministry, together with forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and with the Kurdish people, are monitoring movements in the country\u2019s border areas and will prevent any U.S.-Israeli plan to attack Iranian territory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
