Cook County Treasurer in Illinois, Maria Pappas, has called on all citizens and taxpayers to pay the FIRST INSTALLMENT OF PROPERTY TAXES for Tax Year 2025. The payment deadline is April 1, 2026, by which all taxpayers are expected to settle their obligations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCheck whether your taxes have been paid. Settle your obligations and avoid consequences in the form of a Tax Sale,\u201d Maria Pappas said, adding:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
