Farmer associations that are protesting are beginning today at 10 a.m. a total, multi-hour blockade of about 80 main, regional, and local roads in Serbia, due to the poor state of agriculture which they evaluate as \u2013 catastrophic.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ibarska highway in the village of Mr\u010dajevci near \u010ca\u010dak (which began on February 11) will remain under a total 24-hour blockade, as well as roads in the towns of Bogati\u0107, Zavalka, Lunovo selo, Cerovac, the intersection in Bresnica, the Kragujevac-Gornji Milanovac main road, and the exit to Ra\u010danski road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting at 10 a.m., farmers will block the road in the town of Kisa\u010d, the M7 main road, the checkpoint at the exit from Kikinda, and the Kikinda \u2013 Zrenjanin road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., they will block the old \u010ca\u010dak-Kraljevo road, the center in Gru\u017ea, roads in Mali Zvornik and Obrenovac, and the Obrenovac-Ub main road, while the Po\u017earevac-Majdanpek regional road and the Po\u017earevac-Kladovo road will be blocked from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Novi Sad-Subotica road, the Zrenjanin-Novi Sad main road near the town of Aradac, and Takovo-Gornji Milanovac will be blocked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Belgrade-Zrenjanin main road near \u010centa and the Zrenjanin-\u017diti\u0161te road in the town of Klek will be blocked, as well as the road in the town of Vladimirovci and the center in Smederevska Palanka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., farmers will block the intersections of \u0160abac-Loznica, Valjevo-Bela Crkva, Novo Selo, and the Loznica-\u0160abac main road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 11 a.m. until further notice, the Kragujevac-Kraljevo and Kragujevac-\u010ca\u010dak roads will be blocked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., roads will be blocked in the towns of Kuzmin, Kumane, Ruma, \u010cenej, Nova Crnja, Kr\u010dedin, \u010celarevo, Ba\u0161aid, Stara Pazova, Padina, Vlajkovac, Tovari\u0161te, Vilovo, Ba\u010dki Petrovac, the center and intersection in Srbobran, the Drenovac-\u0160abac roads, \u0160abac-Ma\u010dvanska Mitrovica, Mladenovac-Drap\u0161in, and the road to Belgrade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., the Valjevo-Pri\u010devi\u0107 road will be blocked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting at 12 p.m., the blockade of the Belgrade-Pan\u010devo-Timi\u0219oara main road and roads in Zaklopa\u010da, Vitanovac, the Sremska Mitrovica \u2013 Bogati\u0107 road, and roads in the towns of Klenj, Badovinci, Sala\u0161 Crnobarski, Banovo polje, Ravnje, Resnik-Kragujevac will begin and will last until further notice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., the road in the town of Gornja Sabanta will be blocked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting at 1 p.m., roads in the town of Susek and the Novi Sad-Sremska Mitrovica-border with Croatia intersection will be blocked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The farmers’ protest was supported by students and war veterans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
