The Ambassador of Israel in Sarajevo, Galit Peleg, most strongly condemned the organization of a concert by Marko Perkovi\u0107 Thompson in \u0160iroki Brijeg, in the Federation of BiH, assessing it as the spreading of hatred and the glorification of the unacceptable ideology of Nazism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Thompson held concerts on February 13 and 14 in \u0160iroki Brijeg, which took place in a recognizable atmosphere of glorifying the Ustasha movement, which Ambassador Peleg described as \u201cshocking.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Thompson\u2019s usual performance was marked by the song \u201cBojna \u010cavoglave,\u201d which begins with the Ustasha salute \u201cZa dom spremni,\u201d to which the audience reacted with enthusiasm and raised right arms in a manner resembling the Nazi salute \u201cSieg Heil.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ambassador Peleg emphasized that these are clear pieces of evidence that unacceptable messages were sent from the concert and that this must not be tolerated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She called on the authorities in BiH to react decisively to such occurrences, take concrete measures, and sanction those responsible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI expect the authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina to deal decisively with this incident and ensure accountability,\u201d Ambassador Peleg stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
