The President of the United States Donald Trump congratulated Kosovo on the 18th anniversary of independence, emphasizing that \u201cthe United States remains unwavering in its support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Kosovo.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAs our relations continue to deepen, we look forward to expanding our partnership, including increasing trade and investment that foster shared prosperity,\u201d the letter from Trump addressed to Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani states.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The letter also notes that the United States is ready to work \u201cshoulder to shoulder with Kosovo in advancing peace and stability, for our mutual benefit.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI want to thank you and all the citizens of Kosovo for your continued support for the efforts of the United States to address global challenges in Ukraine, Gaza, and elsewhere. I also welcome Kosovo as one of the founders of the Peace Committee, whose goal is to make the world safer, stronger, and more prosperous,\u201d Trump\u2019s letter states.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Trump also noted that this anniversary is \u201can opportunity to reflect on Kosovo\u2019s progress,\u201d and that he looks forward to \u201ceven stronger cooperation and partnership.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
