Ivana \u0160panovi\u0107, the Serbian athlete, broke the record of the Belgrade Indoor Meeting and did so in her very first triple jump.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the opening series of this year’s edition of the competition, she jumped 14.19 meters in the triple jump.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ivana \u0160panovi\u0107 did not stop there, as she further improved the result in the third series, strengthening the record – 14.27.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The previous record holder was Eva Pepelnak, who jumped a distance of 13.33m in 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is also interesting that as many as three other competitors jumped that distance – Neja Filipi\u010d from Slovenia (13.61), Serbian hope Aleksandrija Mitrovi\u0107 with 13.60, while Maja Askag from Sweden reached a result of 13.45 meters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After historical results in the long jump, Ivana \u0160panovi\u0107 switched to the triple jump discipline, where she has also been recording great results lately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is one of the best Serbian female athletes ever, who is now writing new history for our sport at Banjica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
