Serbian Olympian Anja Ili\u0107 took part on Tuesday morning in the qualifications for the classical cross-country sprint race and we will not be watching her in the Olympic semifinal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the qualifications, which featured 89 competitors, Anja Ili\u0107 finished in the next-to-last, 88th place. Ili\u0107 completed the qualifications in a time of 4:44.69, with a deficit of 1:08.45 compared to the winner of the qualifications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The qualifications were dominated by the Swedes. The winner of the qualifications was Lin Svan, who covered the 800 meters in a time of 3:36.21. Her compatriot Jona Sundling was 1.03 seconds behind, while Johana Hagstrom, also from Sweden, was 2.64 seconds slower.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Thirty competitors will take part in the sprint semifinal, which is scheduled for 12:55, while the final will be held at 13:24.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Anja will compete on Thursday in the 10-kilometer race in the freestyle technique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
