Professor Dr. Vladimir Jakovljevi\u0107 from the Faculty of Medical Sciences in Kragujevac has inscribed his name in the history of world science.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Let us recall that just a year earlier in India, Professor Jakovljevi\u0107 also received the prestigious Rakesh Kukreja recognition for his contribution to the promotion and research in the field of cardiovascular sciences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI am here at the qualification meeting of the Indian section of the International Academy of Cardiovascular Sciences, where I was recognized because one award bears my name. I have just finished the final lecture on the topic of the latest results that my research group has achieved in this field. The lecture was extremely well received, especially because we also deal with cooperation with industry and the application of traditional medicine in new approaches to the treatment of various diseases, including cardiovascular ones,\u201d Vladimir said and added:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As he said, he paid special attention to psoriasis and its impact on the cardiovascular system, as well as to treatment possibilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He added that this award, the second recognition in India, further strengthens the reputation of the Kragujevac Faculty of Medical Sciences and confirms the interest of students there in studying in Serbia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIn addition, I had the opportunity to receive another award in New Delhi, which is presented by this association. The award bears the name of the renowned scientist Rakesh Kukreja, and the ceremony was organized by my great friend and professor at our faculty, Suresh Tyagi. He was a mentor to two of our doctoral candidates \u2013 N. J. as a postdoctoral researcher, and D. S. as a doctoral student. It is a great honor for me to receive this recognition, because, like all great nations, India remembers its distinguished scientists who work around the world,\u201d Vladimir explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
