(VIDEO)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Legend has it\u2026 If a groundhog at the crack of dawn on February 2nd, Groundhog Day, sees its shadow and retreats back into its burrow, winter and cold weather will last at least six more weeks. If it doesn\u2019t see its shadow, spring is expected to arrive earlier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The tradition of celebrating Groundhog Day was brought to America by German immigrants a few hundred years ago, who believed that groundhogs, besides nibbling chocolates, also had meteorological skills. There\u2019s even a statistic claiming groundhogs predict correctly about 60% of the time\u2014roughly as reliable as betting on Nikola Joki\u0107\u2019s Denver Nuggets winning a game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following this story, our team traveled to the town of Woodstock, Illinois, about an hour and a half drive from Chicago.
