At the entrance to the Serbian village of Glu\u0161ci in the municipality of Metkovi\u0107 in the Dubrovnik-Neretva County in Croatia, offensive graffiti with messages “Serbs on willows” and Usta\u0161e symbols have been written once again.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Residents noticed the inscriptions last night, but did not report the case to the police because they say that the perpetrators of previous similar misdeeds were not discovered either, RTRS reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Graffiti with the messages “Kill a Serb” and the Usta\u0161e greeting “Ready for the homeland” were written at the entrance to Glu\u0161ci in September of last year as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This occurred just before the commemoration of the anniversary of the suffering of the Serbian population from Glu\u0161ci in 1944 when 93 residents, including women and children, were taken to the Usta\u0161e death camp Jasenovac.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About forty residents now live in Glu\u0161ci, and it is the only village with an exclusively Serbian population in the south of Croatia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
