\u201cI was waiting for the New Year in a peaceful atmosphere, with my family and grandson, when he called me and offered me to make five movies and I don\u2019t know how many series. He offered that \u2018we\u2019 work, and that I drop this, because it has already failed, everything. He actually wants to save me, to help me\u2026\u201d says Dragan Gagi Jovanovi\u0107 with a laugh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To Mitrovi\u0107\u2019s offer, Gagi Jovanovi\u0107 only responded with: \u201cUh-huh\u2026\u201d, but, as he says, he believes that his interlocutor could easily tell by his tone of voice that the answer was ironic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI added at the end: \u2018Okay, get in touch,\u2019\u201d Jovanovi\u0107 recounts, noting that there are people who think everything can be bought.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the interview for Danas<\/em>, Gagi Jovanovi\u0107 did not mention \u017deljko Mitrovi\u0107 by name, but spoke about the media mogul who offered him a script, as well as delivering it by helicopter to Zlatibor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Did your participation in the protests cost you professionally?<\/strong>
\u2013 Of course it did. Many offers existed before that \u2013 for films, plays, commercials. I decided not to work while all of this was going on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Did you receive offers from the government or people close to them?<\/strong>
\u2013 There were offers from the authorities as well, for an ambassadorial position. One media mogul who has a helicopter wanted me to act in a play for him. I told him to bring the script. He called two or three more times, and when I asked again for the script, he said: \u201cI\u2019ll come by helicopter to Zlatibor to bring it to you.\u201d I said: \u201cPlease don\u2019t come by helicopter here (laughs), don\u2019t disturb the nature.\u201d And, of course, it was obvious that he didn\u2019t have the script.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A student or anyone from the street who loves art \u2013 anyone \u2013 comes and asks: \u201cCan you look at what I wrote?\u201d I want to do that, and I\u2019ve never refused anyone. It\u2019s a different story when I tell them what I really think about it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
