A serious scandal occurred at the European Handball Championship, orchestrated by the Croats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Despite the fact that the EHF (European Handball Federation) did not allow our neighbors to play songs by the proven Serb-hater Marko Perkovi\u0107 Thompson over the loudspeakers, the lyrics of one of his songs were nevertheless heard on Saturday evening in the Swedish city of Malm\u00f6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Because of this, the EHF issued a statement and, in a response to the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet, emphasized that the Croats had been warned several times not to play Thompson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They added that Thompson\u2019s song \u201cAko ne zna\u0161 \u0161to je bilo\u201d was never included in the original match playlist and that all songs on the playlists for all matches were reviewed by the entertainment team and the EHF before the start of the championship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Aftonbladet also reports that after the match in which Croatia defeated Georgia, \u201cseveral spectators reacted\u201d to the playing of the controversial song.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Whether this scandal will be repeated during the remainder of the championship remains to be seen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
